Accessibility statement

A website everyone can use.

Latitude is for every business owner, whatever device they use and however they use it. This page explains what we do to make our website accessible, where it falls short, and how to tell us about a problem.

Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 (opens in a new tab) at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and easier to use for everyone.

Conformance status

Our website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. The pages we build meet the standard in our testing. The booking calendar on our contact page is provided by Cal.com, and we can’t fully control or test how accessible it is. See known limitations below.

What we’ve done

  • Everything can be used with a keyboard, with a clearly visible focus outline and a “Skip to content” link on every page.
  • Text and controls meet WCAG contrast ratios, including on our dark pages.
  • Text follows your browser’s text-size setting, extra letter and line spacing doesn’t cut content off, and pages work down to 320 pixels wide (the equivalent of 400% zoom) without scrolling sideways.
  • Buttons, links and form fields are labelled for screen readers, and pages use headings and landmarks so they are easy to navigate.
  • If your device is set to reduce motion, we remove movement and keep only gentle fades. If it’s set to reduce transparency or increase contrast, we use solid, higher-contrast surfaces.
  • Tap targets meet the WCAG 2.2 minimum size.
  • Links that open a new tab say so to screen readers.
  • The cookie banner works with a keyboard and screen readers, doesn’t block the page, and gives “Accept” and “Decline” equal weight.

Known limitations

  • Booking calendar. The calendar on our contact page is provided by Cal.com. If you have trouble using it, you can send us an inquiry, email hello@latitudeos.io, or call +94 77 790 1155 and we’ll book a time with you.
  • Demo video. The storefront demo on our home page has no sound. It shows a visitor browsing a sample store, choosing product options, adding to the cart and checking out.
  • Example stores. The store examples on our home page are screenshots of layouts, shown for inspiration. They are labelled by store name and type rather than described in detail.

How we tested

We assessed the website ourselves. We used automated testing with axe-core against WCAG 2.2 Level A and AA, and checked by hand keyboard navigation, focus visibility, text spacing and small screens. Testing was done in Chrome, and we tested with the NVDA screen reader on Windows.

Tell us about a problem

If something on our website doesn’t work for you, or you need information in a different format, please let us know. Tell us the page and what happened, and we’ll do our best to help.
